Close, good job. The one you want is disconnected and is heavier on top and is blended with the bottom by slicing down. So it is longer on top, there is a layered undercut underneath. The top section is a U section starting at one recession all the way back to the crown and back to the other side's recession. clip the top section away, and start a verticle section about 1 inch wide at the back of the head. pull the hair out 90degree without too much tension and cut. leave the hair about 3 inches long go all the way around the head pivot point. like pie sections under the U section. after that pull the rest down and shread to blend with the bottom section. trim up the length in the back a little, like a half and inch to an inch. Use sharp scissors for this.

I would say good job, it looks similar to me, I'm sure the hairdresser won't mind if you took the animation picture as well though

the real picture matches the anime very well.if you really want to match the anime girl you should probably get the bangs cut so they just barely skim the top of your eyes.which means you will have to get your bangs trimmed every few weeks thats usually a free service at most salons anyway

i think it matches it really well. its a cute hairstyle too!
