highlights are the devil... by that i mean they are kinda hard to get rid of.

i put highlights in my hair before i dyed it bright red to have different tones of red... big mistake. every month some blonde starts showing through and i HATE it. so i just redye whenever my blonde says "hello".

you'll have to do a lot of dying to hide them until they fade. they'll fade after a while... a long while. good luck! i know how bad that sucks. maybe find a color you like, or just a color that is close to your hair color. i would suggest a color slightly darker than your hair color, that way your highlights will look like your hair color and the rest will be darker.

you're gonna need to stay out of the pool...the chlorine will mess up any dye job you do. if you're really not going to cut it you'll need to dye it probably 3 times

i think u can dye ur hair 2 ur original hair colour...n next time before getting into da pool use some oil on ur hair...it will prevent the chlorin from making ur hair dry n avoid ur hair 2 get damage easily...

You would need to color your hair. But with you swimming everyday, the color will eventually fade. You will need to put some sort of color protector in your hair. Redken sells some that is specifically for people in the sun alot.. http://www.beauty-mart.com/user/search/s...

When coloring your hair, you will need to use something with a red base to cover the green. If your hair is brown, use a warm brown.

Good luck

Try dying it again, one color to cover up the highlights. U probably should go to a hair dresser to get it done.

A trim to your hair while growing it is a very good idea as well, it help rid split ends.

color it back to the natural just make sure that the color is a cool tone not warm, warms have too many light colors in them and it will turn your hair a greyish blue, Iespecially with the high amounts of chlorine you've been in)instead of the color you were going for. I would reccomend any type or loreal hair color, its runs about 20-25 bucks, but i'd rather have normal hair than green hair, but if you're that concerned goto a hair dressr useually guys colors are the same price, 20-25 as if you bought it in the store.

good luck

find the color of your regular hair and dye the highlights.

or just dye them a dark color.

Obvious answer is to dye it all the same color. But because of the chlorine damage to highlights would definitely have it done professionally.
